Bureau of Paranormal Investigation

During a high-stakes counter-narcotics tactical raid along the dense southwestern Yunnan border, special forces operative Shen La and his elite unit inadvertently breach an ancient subterranean tomb complex. Trapped inside forgotten ritual chambers, the squad is decimated by horrifying reanimated corpses and supernatural abominations. Shen La barely survives thanks to the timely intervention of Wu Mian, an enigmatic silver-haired master wielding supernatural powers. Recognizing Shen La's rare psychic perception, the government recruits him into the secretive Bureau of Special Investigations. Armed with tactical firearms and ancient talismans, Shen La hunts forbidden occult horrors across China.
