Synopsis

In the autumn of 1966, beneath the looming political tensions of the Vietnam War, ominous supernatural entities infiltrate the Yokota Air Base in suburban Tokyo. Disguised in human skin, predatory chiropteran beasts known as Teropterids stalk military personnel for sustenance. To eliminate the infestation, secret government handlers deploy Saya, a grim, enigmatic girl wielding a traditional Japanese katana. Masquerading as a transferred high school student on the base campus, Saya tracks the monsters through darkened hallways and school dances. When the creatures reveal their monstrous true forms, Saya unleashes lethal swordsmanship in a ferocious midnight slaughter.
