In the mundane mortal world, artistic schoolgirls Shi Qiao Ling, Lan Hui, and Yin Xiao Min share an insatiable passion for painting, crafts, and magical stories. Their ordinary lives transform during a visit to an antique shop, where they awaken a mysterious gemstone that transports them to the Colorful Castle, a luminous fairy kingdom sustained by rainbow elemental magic. When the malevolent Dark Queen uses shadow corruption to drain the realm's vibrant pigments and turn inhabitants to stone, the three girls are chosen to become Colour Magic Fairies. Armed with magical paintbrush wands, they must restore radiant hues and harmony across the fairy realm.
