Seraph of the End Watch Order: Both Seasons, the Special, the OVA and the Shorts, in order
“Seraph of the End's two seasons, special, OVA and shorts in release order, with the skippable extras flagged.”
The world ended, humanity lost, and the vampires, naturally, took over. That's the starting point of Seraph of the End, and the watch order is a lot calmer than the plot. There are six titles on Lifehaki: two TV seasons plus a handful of extras.
Watch Vampire Reign first, then Battle in Nagoya. Both aired in 2015, a few months apart, so the order is just release order. Between them sits a 24-minute special from October 2015. After Nagoya there's one OVA, Vampire Shahar, from 2016.
So do you need the comedy shorts? Answer: no. Owaranai Seraph and the Nagoya shorts are tiny gag clips from 2015 and 2016, and you won't lose any of the story without them. Think of them as outtakes: fun for fans, never required.
At the end: Vampire Reign, the special, Battle in Nagoya, then the OVA. The shorts are yours to pick up or leave behind.
Season 1 (2015)
Start here. Vampires have taken over the world and humans fight back. 12 episodes, spring 2015.
Nine 2-minute comedy shorts from summer 2015.
The Owaranai Seraph shorts are quick comedy clips with no story, so they're safe to skip.
Season 2: Battle in Nagoya (2015-2016)
A 24-minute special from October 2015, aired between the seasons.
Four 4-minute comedy shorts from 2015 and 2016.
