Year Hare Affair

In this ingenious geopolitical allegory, modern world powers are depicted as anthropomorphic animal nations competing on the global stage. Humble, hardworking Chinese rabbits endure imperialist bullying and harsh economic deprivation, yet remain fiercely determined to rebuild their shattered homeland into a prosperous nation. Confronted by arrogant American bald eagles, domineering Soviet bears, cunning British cows, and aggressive Japanese cranes, the resourceful rabbits fight through major historical milestones. From the Korean War and nuclear weapon tests to modern economic reforms, the rabbits demonstrate unshakeable perseverance, humor, and patriotic solidarity across decades of hardship.
