Synopsis
Long ago, the vampire queen released a power so great that it nearly destroyed the world, and the Night Kingdom fell with it. Her king, Rose Red Strauss, a pure-blooded vampire, gave up his throne and turned against his own kind and the dhampirs (half-vampires). Now he roams the earth searching for the seal that holds her, hoping to free her before the humans do. Dhampir warriors hunt him without rest, and a new threat waits on his road: the Black Swan, an entity that takes over the body of a young human woman every 50 years and gains the power to destroy both the vampire king and his queen.
