Chinese martial artist Ling Xiaoyu is blackmailed by Anna Williams of G Corporation into infiltrating Kyoto International School to investigate Shin Kamiya, an enigmatic student with ties to the Mishima Zaibatsu. Simultaneously, Jin Kazama dispatches android operative Alisa Bosconovitch on the identical espionage assignment. Unaware of each other's covert handlers, Xiaoyu and Alisa forge a genuine friendship while investigating the academy. When Shin is violently kidnapped by corporate strike teams, the girls combine lethal martial arts skills, uncovering a horrifying biological conspiracy involving the immortal M-cell and the cursed devil gene of the Mishima bloodline.
