In the neon-lit backstreets of modern Tokyo, a missing high school girl's disappearance triggers a cascading sequence of bizarre criminal events across the city. At the center of the web sits Hiroshi Odokawa, an eccentric, insomniac middle-aged walrus taxi driver whose casual late-night conversations inadvertently connect aspiring idol singers, reckless online influencers, crooked detectives, and ruthless yakuza gangsters. Through post-incident investigative police interrogations and personal confessions from key witnesses, the film reconstructs Odokawa's fateful October encounters, culminating in a shocking revelation that recontextualizes the animal populace and unmasks a chilling suburban murder mystery.
