Story
Synopsis
The comedic crossover franchise expands onto the big screen as an anomalous wormhole appears in the classroom of the alternate high school world, sucking in the eccentric casts of KonoSuba, Overlord, Re:Zero, Saga of Tanya the Evil, and The Rising of the Shield Hero. Transported to a desolate, post-apocalyptic universe dominated by rogue magical automatons, the displaced heroes encounter a mysterious girl named Vera, an unhinged mage named Alec, and a enigmatic warrior named Pantagruel. Kazuma, Ainz, Subaru, Tanya, and Naofumi must combine their vastly contrasting powers to find a path back home.

The heroes learn that Pantagruel is a runaway bio-magical weapon created by an ancient military empire to consume entire dimensions, having eradicated the local world's populace. Alec attempts to sacrifice the world to power an interdimensional escape portal. Putting aside their chaotic rivalries, Ainz unleashes supreme death magic, Tanya coordinates aerial artillery strikes, Naofumi deploys his Iron Shield defense, and Kazuma uses his signature Steal skill to disrupt Pantagruel's power core. Slaying the colossus, the heroes activate the gateway, returning safely to their mundane classroom just in time for homeroom.
