Synopsis

High school girl Tamaki Kasuga leaves Tokyo to live with her grandmother in the remote mountain village of Kifumura. Upon arriving, Tamaki is attacked by monstrous spirits and rescued by a sullen youth named Takuma Onizaki. Her grandmother reveals an astonishing family secret: Tamaki is the reincarnation of the Tamayori Princess, a sacred shrine maiden tasked with guarding and sealing the Onikirimaru, an ancient demonic blade capable of bringing apocalyptic ruin to the world. To assist her in this perilous spiritual duty, five handsome young warriors known as the Shugogo guardians pledge their lives to protect her. Together, they defend the village against Logos, a shadowy mystical syndicate seeking to claim the sword.
