Story

Synopsis

While playing in the snowy wastes of the North Pole, Nobita discovers bizarre mechanical components raining down from the sky. Assisted by Doraemon's secret tools, the children transport the robotic parts into an alternate Mirror World where they assemble a colossal humanoid mecha named Zanda Claus. However, excitement turns to sheer panic when they discover the mecha is an interstellar combat weapon belonging to the Mechatopia empire, an alien robot civilization marching to enslave humanity. Joined by Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo, Nobita prepares to defend human civilization against an incoming mechanoid invasion army.

Mechatopian operative Lilulu infiltrates Earth to build a military beacon, but Shizuka nurses her back to health after she is injured by robot artillery, awakening compassionate feelings in the android girl. As Doraemon's group wages a desperate defensive war against thousands of steel troops inside the Mirror World, Shizuka and Lilulu travel thirty thousand years into the past using the Time Machine. They reprogram the prime robotic creator's algorithm, embedding altruistic empathy into mechanoid consciousness. The invasion army vanishes from history, and Lilulu dissolves peacefully with a grateful smile.
