Synopsis
When bloodline limit shinobi mysteriously vanish from four of the five great ninja nations, the Hidden Leaf Village remains the sole unblemished territory, drawing suspicion and the imminent threat of world war. The crisis escalates when rogue ninja Hiruko uses a mind-control curse on Kakashi Hatake, commanding him to walk into Mount Shumi to become the fifth sacrifice needed to achieve absolute immortality. Ordered by Tsunade to accept Kakashi's suicidal self-sacrifice for international peace, Naruto refuses to abandon his mentor, breaking village protocol alongside Sakura and Sai to mount a desperate rescue.

Hiruko initiates the chimera absorption technique to absorb Kakashi and his Sharingan, intending to trigger the Fourth Great Ninja War. Naruto and his comrades storm the fortress, where Naruto intervenes just as Kakashi prepares to activate his Kamui to seal Hiruko at the cost of his own life. Naruto convinces Kakashi that living to protect others represents the genuine Will of Fire. Channeling his Rasenshuriken, Naruto obliterates Hiruko's chimera technique. Defeated and dying, Hiruko realizes with deep remorse that true strength comes from comrades rather than stolen bloodlines, finding redemption before he passes away.
