Story

Synopsis

Nanoha Takamachi is an ordinary nine-year-old until she encounters an injured ferret who turns out to be a mage from another world, and a magical device that grants her considerable power almost immediately. Tasked with collecting dangerous artifacts called Jewel Seeds, she comes into conflict with Fate Testarossa, a girl her age fighting for reasons rooted in her own mother's cruelty. What could be a straightforward rivalry becomes an attempt to reach someone who has never been offered kindness before. Every confrontation between the two girls is really an attempt at reaching one another.
