Story

Synopsis

A demon named Sesshomaru's rival wields So'unga, the third sword forged from Inuyasha's father's fang, and its awakening threatens destruction on a scale that forces the half-demon and his full-demon brother into cooperation neither of them wants. Kagome, Miroku, Sango, and Shippo are pulled into a conflict rooted entirely in the legacy of a father Inuyasha never knew. The film pairs its large-scale demon combat with the franchise's ongoing questions about inheritance and belonging. Every confrontation between the brothers is about a father neither of them knew.
