Synopsis
Boruto Uzumaki harbors deep resentment toward his father Naruto, whose responsibilities as Seventh Hokage leave him little time for family. Determined to earn his father's recognition, Boruto seeks training from Naruto's longtime rival Sasuke Uchiha, while secretly relying on an illegal ninja gauntlet to fake advanced techniques during the Chunin Exams. When sinister Otsutsuki clan members Momoshiki and Kinshiki crash the tournament to extract the Nine-Tails, Naruto sacrifices himself to shield the stadium. Confronting his own arrogance, Boruto teams up with Sasuke and the four Kage on an interdimensional rescue mission.

Boruto discards his illicit scientific ninja tool and joins Naruto and Sasuke in the alien dimension. Facing Momoshiki's monstrous ultimate transformation, Naruto infuses Boruto's miniature Rasengan with his colossal Nine-Tails chakra, producing the legendary Super Uzumaki Rasengan. Boruto charges forward, delivers a devastating counter blow, and completely obliterates Momoshiki in midair. Back home in the Hidden Leaf, Naruto and Boruto achieve mutual respect, and Boruto explicitly declares his intention not to pursue the Hokage seat, choosing instead to become Sasuke's loyal shadow protector supporting Sarada's dream.
