Story

Synopsis

High school student Haruto Satou has harbored secret feelings for his childhood neighbor Hime ever since she arrived in modern Japan ten years ago. When Hime announces she must abruptly return to her home world to marry, Satou impulsively leaps through the dimensional portal behind her. Arriving in the realm of Arnous, he discovers Hime is actually Princess Crystal, keeper of the divine Ring of Light. To save the kingdom from the malevolent Abyss King, Satou accepts the sacred marriage bond, becoming the legendary Ring King. To unlock the ring's full celestial power, he must marry four other royal maidens.

Adapted from the fantasy romance manga created by Maybe, the artistic duo behind *Dusk Maiden of Amnesia*, this television anime was animated by Staple Entertainment and directed by Takashi Naoya. Broadcasting twelve episodes in winter 2024, the series balanced grand high fantasy combat with bold romantic harem dynamics and intricate ring lore. Following its broadcast across AT-X and Tokyo MX, an official second season was greenlit to continue Satou's royal matrimonial quest.
