Story

Synopsis

Inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's classic adventure novel, Nobita uses Doraemon's Treasure Finding Map to locate an undiscovered artificial island in the Pacific Ocean. Assembling a crew consisting of Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo, the children set sail aboard a customized sailing galleon. However, upon approaching the coordinates, they are ambushed by ruthless futuristic pirates, and Shizuka is accidentally kidnapped when she is mistaken for pirate captain Silver's daughter, Sarah. Nobita and Doraemon team up with runaway cabin boy Flock to rescue Shizuka and uncover the island's dark secret.

Flock reveals that Captain Silver is his father, a grieving widower who traveled back from the post-apocalyptic future to drain Earth's geothermal core energy into his starship, intending to flee into space with his children while leaving Earth to freeze. Doraemon and the children storm the pirate island fortress, disabling the energy siphons with miniature gadgets. Flock and Sarah confront Silver, pleading with him to cherish the present. Moved by his children's tears, Silver aborts the launch, reconciling with his family as the island submerges safely into the ocean.
