Synopsis

An accidental spacetime anomaly beneath the tatami floor of Nobita's bedroom connects his Tokyo house directly to a transport spaceship operated by Roppel and his alien companion Chammy. Stepping through the portal, Nobita and Doraemon arrive on Koya Koya, an idyllic frontier planet blessed with bountiful nature and peaceful settlers. Because Koya Koya possesses substantially lower gravitational pull than Earth, Nobita discovers he can leap incredible distances and possesses pinpoint sharpshooting reflexes. He enthusiastically acts as the planet's guardian, but an unscrupulous corporate syndicate soon arrives to exploit the world's precious mineral reserves.

⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
The predatory mining corporation Garutite deploys the lethal outlaw gunslinger Guillermin to plant a core-detonating device capable of blowing up Koya Koya. In a tense western showdown, Nobita utilizes his natural marksmanship to outshoot and disarm Guillermin in a classic quick-draw duel. Nobita and Doraemon successfully defuse the planet-buster bomb, preserving the frontier world from annihilation. With the dimensional warp destabilizing, Nobita and his friends must permanently return through the tatami threshold, tearfully bidding farewell to Roppel and Chammy as the cosmic doorway closes forever.
